Hi,

I have an sheet with thousands of rows. I am looking for a way to move all the rows that have similar data in the cloumn A feilds. Hope it is clear. for example;

Column A Column B Column C Column D

aasa Untitled-1.jpg Z:\Home01\aasa.BAH\scan\ 136.7 KB 2/25/2004
aasa Untitled-10.jpg Z:\Home01\aasa.BAH\scan\ 212.2 KB 2/25/2004
aasa Untitled-11.jpg Z:\Home01\aasa.BAH\scan\ 206.4 KB 2/25/2004

aasa Untitled-12.jpg Z:\Home01\aasa.BAH\scan\ 234.8 KB 2/25/2004

ssmm Untitled-12.jpg Z:\Home01\aasa.BAH\scan\ 234.8 KB 2/25/2004

ssmm Untitled-12.jpg Z:\Home01\aasa.BAH\scan\ 234.8 KB 2/25/2004

So when any row having Column A as "aasa", copy all these rows and paste it in a new spreadsheet, and so on for "ssmm" ..etc.
Thank you

Messi

See this
https://ccm.net/forum/affich-339638-link-data#9

The macro there, will create sheets "aasa", "ssmm" etc ( what ever is in column A) and paste rows that match in those sheets
