Can not download a program Closed

Question

Im trying to download a program off the internet, and i watch the box appear and it fully download then it dissapears and my file isnt saved and doesnt run. what can i do 
Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 8.0

Dear Bubb, 

Please check whether the download location has  been well set and also if  the firewall is restricting the download.
