Virus owning my laptop..help!

I was browsing the net and all of the sudden my laptop just shutdown and now I can even turn it on I donot know what to do guys can you help please and I think its infected by a virus.Im using acer

Hi there,

Remove the battery and press the power button for about 1 minute holding it,then connect adapter to it and try to power it up.After having successfully powered it up make a shutdown and re insert battery in slot and start using it,
