plug in your pendrive and follow these instructions
Go to control panel and switch to classic view
Choose ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS and select DEVICE MANAGEMENT
click DISK MANAGEMENT from the left pane
you will see your generic drive there
right click it and choose format option
Dialog appears stating that "formatting will erase all the contents in the drive"
click ok button
The probs u face is due to the virus intrution in ur drive if so anothere message appears stating that the generic drive is in use and force it formatting select positively and u will get it done.
