Dvd will play but I have no sound

I insert a dvd, the dvd will play but I have no sound, all sound systems are working,whats the problem?

Is it on pc or dvd player?If n pc you need video codec,get it from link below:

http://ccm.net/download/download-1668-codec-pack-suite
