No sound on 4600c dell PC after reinstalling

Hello,

There is no sound on my 4600c Dell after reinstalling Windows XP after crash from virus. Under control panel, under Sounds & audio devices; it states that I do not "no audio devices.What do I do.

you need to install the hardware drivers for your motherboard. You can find them at www.dell.com under the "support" tab.
