Time changes when i switch on my computer

Hello,
whenever i switch on my system my system date n time is showing as Jan 1 2006 and time is starting from 12 am y is it so? Do anyone please suggest some solution....

Hi there,

please change bios battery as its almost empty resulting with your actual time issue.
