Problem of unexpected shutdown

my dell laptop is facing a problem these days.these days it suffers from sudden shutdown while we are working. once ,it did not started even again starting after unexpected shutdown.please advise me and rply that what should i do now.it has passed 2 yearsyears since i've bought it. config>Windows Vista / Safari 532.5</config>
