"My computer" icon does not openClosed

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.3 

I have the following problem. Everything is fine, except that I can't open "My computer" icon when I click on it, it just does not open. However, I can open "My document", "My desktop". 

I would appreciate youre help.

Dear Sir, 

Please try right clicking on the icon and select explore. If the problem does not get solved, please consider repairing your operating system through the below method.
