Help please no reboot disks

Hello, well today june 1 2010 i tryed getting on my computer and when i clicked my mouse this came up on the screen( disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter) does anyone know what this means? and also i didn't make any of the reboot disks and it has vista home. Is there any site other than hp's to maybe burn reboot disks.
desperate for help.

Check the BIOS and make sure you are booting from the hard drive.

Did you not get a recovery disc or installation disk when you purchased the computer. If not try to borrow one.
If you cannot change the boot order as mentioned above then you will need a disc.
