No internet connection after Norton download.

Hello,
I'm struggling (on my Gateway) with XP after downloading Norton 360. The LAN icon and ip address missing...a bit of a novice but access to another computer to download solutions.

Dear Sir,

Please check whether the problem is not coming from your firewall. Deactivate it and check whether you get access to the web.

Try this winsockfix and see whether it helps. If not, you can uninstall Norton and test again.
