Photo can't be read in the computer

I have trouble with my memory card, I have 2GB memory card for my BenQ digital camera. I took some pictures and they are there. but when I try to transfer my pictures to computer and put the memory card. the memory card is empty. when I put the memory card back to my camera, yes the picture is there.
I have tried to transfer it with cable data, but still, the folder is empty.
