Blue Screen Error

Hello,

I have a 500 GB sata hard disk installed on my pc. one of my friends has a problem with his 120GB baracuda drive and giving a blue screen at startup and restaring multiple times;

The data in that hard disk is very important for him, i have tried connecting the same to my computer as slave;
if i do so, my computer also gives me the same error message and reboots;

i have tried repartitioning the120GB HDD in my computer with windows xp setup disc; but it again gives the blue screen before the xp setup starts installing windows.

i am getting this error in any computer if i conncet this HDD (master or slave)
