Cant install win vista

Hello,
i have win vista ultimate edition 64bit and a compaq laptop.i installed it but when it restarted an error appeared"booting GLRLD RESETING bootdrive " something like this and that it again restart and window could be not run.please help me in this problem and reply me with best suitable solution

Another person fixed this error by repairing windows using the vista DVD...

Boot up the DVD and select Windows Repair, after that select Startup repair...just restart and you are good to go.
