Hello,

Me and my neighbor share internet connection in a apartment complex. The name of our network is Lnksys, a week ago someone has moved into the apartment complex and named there network lnksys. His internet connection is stronger therefore my Wireless protocol only connects to him...how do I switch or what program can I use to manage them???????

Hi There Go into your router and change the sid from Linskeys to something else and get your friend to do the same on his wireless setup. Also you should have enabled security to stop anyone else using your broadband.
Hope this helps Tony B.

I have a similar problem at my local Cafe Nero.

Somebody has setup a network called BT Openzone in the flat above. This nework has a very strong signal and therefore my laptop connects to it rather than the cafe's own BT Openzone network.

The cafe's nework is on channel 1 and the fake network is on channel 11. Is there anyway I can force my laptop to use the connect only on channel 1?
