How do i get my sims 2 game to start playing

I have most of the expansion packs installed on my computer; right now the disc i have to insert to play is the best of business collection. whenever i try to start it up it never comes on. my kaspersky-anti-virus tell me that my sims 2 store/shopping edition is missing, but it is installed and i don't understand why it isn't working. It was working fine and then it wouldn't come on. i have been trying for the past two months to get to work. i have ran out of options and i don't know what to do!
