Sims 3 wont work

Hello,

I have been playing sims 3 for a while on my computer but it wont work anymore. when i click play it says i need to insert the disk. the sims 3 disk is in the drive but it is not reading it anymore. how can i get it to work?

Dear Marisa,

Please consider removing the application and reinstall it for there might be some missing files causing the trouble.
