built in webcam says its not connected Closed

hello there,
im jocelyn from kuwait and im facing a problem about my computer sony vio product (vista).
im trying to open my built in webcam but it says that its not connected. after trying to go to sony website and type the product style surprisingly i got an answer says that my model is not available.... please help.......



Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 7.0

same problem with my dell-inspiron 1525 its a vista

Uninstall your driver and then restart your computer. It should reinstall the driver and then it will work.

Click Start>Control panel>System and Maintenance>Device manager>imaging devices
Then right click on your webcam and click properties. then click drivers and click uninstall. Then restart your computer.

Built in webcam says its not connected
