Please enter built-in HDD/SSD user password

Hello,
I have a Toshiba notebook 205 that is telling me " Please enter built-in HDD/SSD user password." What do I do?



System Configuration: Windows / Chrome 81.0.4044.138

Hello, after a previous post, this was the best answer that worked for them:

Try resetting your BIOS. Follow the below instructions.
  • Turn off your PC and remove the power chord --> Open the cabinet --> Remove the CMOS battery for 15-30 minutes and then put it back properly.
  • Now plug the power cord back in and switch ON your PC.
  • If the problem still exists try jumper setting to reset your BIOS.
  • Click on the below link and follow the instructions in "Hardware Reset".

Hello,


I set an HDD password for my "Toshiba Satellite L850-A848" laptop. Now I can't get to the BIOS settings. So, how can I open the BIOS? if not possible, I want to know how to remove the HDD password?
Note: I know the passwordSS

This is on a Toshiba Satellite C655-S5503 laptop. Was working on the internet and it got frozen. I hit Ctrl/Alt/Del and could not get the laptop to re-start. It gives me a "No Bootable Device" message. Any way to fix this or to get a bootable disk? Thanks...

External drive very slow copying data to D:

Hello,
My external drive is extremely slow copying music and data to my D: drive, the format of both the drives is ntfs, and my anti virus is not scanning, when I drag and drop from one to the other the copying is extremely slow.

Hello, Wizards

I need some Wiz..mm. We have a Toshiba Satellite Model: Running Vista without problem since three Years. But out of nowhere It appears now that we cannot get our laptop started.

Every time we start our Computer basic message appears in blue "Please Enter... HDD1.." as noted above ...

The problem is we never did get into the set up bios, unless some of your kids played a joke and changed something in the Bios since we found out it uses the Phoenix TrustedCore utility.. How can we salvage this laptop and rid boot password???

Please help... this is for a senior citizen ... Thank you... JJ

Lenovo computer Hard Disk not detected in BIOS.

Please help me with this. I have a Lenovo YOGA 510 and 3 weeks ago, i was playing Team Fortress 2 when suddenly, my game just froze and my computer crashed. And when i try to open my computer, it always has this "Checking media_" test on the top left and a few minutes later, it says "no boot device found" and that i have to get a recovery disk. I found out what a Bios Setup is. I read the first lines of text and it says that my hard disk was not detected. https://imgur.com/gallery/xpgrbAM

Can anyone help me with this please? I can't go outside to go to a repair shop because of the quarantine and i can't just buy a new laptop because i have to spend the rest of my money on foo...
