Sending a picture via e-mail

Hello,

I work on gmail in Windows XP - all works fine but cannot send a picture or a document from my folders. Recently activated Outlook Express but cannot do so either as the message comes up that 'The host "SMTP' could not be found. How do I change that and what should the host be. (My Account states: "POP3".

Hello Marguerite,

Your issue is not related to attaching pictures but with the smtp server address.

Pop3 is incoming mail and SMTP is outgoing mail.

I strongly suggest that you contact your internet service provider who will give you free of charge the both server addresses and help you configure your Outlook Express. The configuration takes two minutes flat.
