Change of color, would not trigger any event or at least not that I can think of. Since you say that orders that are past due it seems that there must be a date column past which an order is considered to be late. You can leverage that column to paste it to other sheet

Again as I said that in the data there must be some thing that lets you know if an order is past due or not. When you color a cell, there must a a logic, You have to translate that logic into code. If some one just tells you that just color rows 5,11, 34 etc, and you do it, then again you can write those row numbers in an other sheet and have a macro execute it.
Could you please upload a sample EXCEL file WITH sample data, macro, formula , conditional formatting etc on some shared site like https://authentification.site , http://docs.google.com, http://wikisend.com/ , http://www.editgrid.com etc and post back here the link to allow better understanding of how it is now and how you foresee. Based on the sample book, could you re-explain your problem too
