Hi,
Check your connections first. If you are using PATA harddisk, then check your
jumper settings. If you have connected harddisk and drive to same IDE data
cable make one device as master and the other as slave.
Go to your bios and load default settings and set harddisk as your first boot
device.

i did not do any modification.. cables work with the other hard disk.. and not in mine from then..

In "boot device priority" in BIOS.....
only CD/DVD/ROM is available...!!!
Hard disk is not shown...

Check the sata power connection.
