MY PC KEEPS HANGING Closed

Question

Hello, 
My computer keeps hanging after i reboot so i decided to repair the operting system(XP sp2) but even during the installation it still hangs. it usually works for some time then hangs at a particular point of the installation. some one please help me i am stranded and dont know what to do.


Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.7
