How to bypass a snapped off vga connector

Hello,
hi i just bought a new vid card. when i went to install it my onboard vga connector snapped off. so i have no way to see the screen to know what im doing on it. was wondering if anyone know a way to bypass this issue without getting a new motherboard or having to solder it. im running vista

Put in the video card. Start the PC in "safe mode". That should use the default video settings that any card can run under. Then you can install the drivers for the card.
