Audio driver installation

Hello,
I am usiing a HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop with default Vista Home premium installed.
I downgrade it to Win XP SP2 but the problem is with the audio device.
I downloaded the audio driver from Hp.com website
While I am trying to install in laptop, it states that Driver Installation Failed:Could not find the Media device for this driver.
