My dell monitor wont come on

Hello,

hi, say I been having this problem with my dell pc..the monitor,when everything starts up, the monitor light instantly turns from green to yellow,then computer makes this weird beeping noise and when I click the plus and the minus button on the monitor the screen comes back on, and it says that the computer is in powersave mode, and to click any button on the keyboard or click the mouse to un activate it,but it doesnt work. please give me some info on this

Is the computer always on... Have you unplugged the Power cord from the make of both the monitor and the PC. Always give your computer 2-3 minutes then plug it in? If you have then you might need to hit F8 when the computer boots up and get into safe mode and check the resolution and the power saving modes. You can find them in the control panel.
