Card reader does not work

Hello,

I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ38. When I connect the camera to my laptop with the USB cable, everything works fine. But when I take out the camera card, and connect it with a card reader, the computer recognises the external device as connected, but my file manager does not show it, nor show the pictures. I have the same problem when I put the card into the slot in the side of my laptop. Anyone have any ideas what is wrong?

Dear Steve,

The difficulty can simply be sourcing from the card reader itself. Please confirm the issue by connecting it to an alternative card reader.
