Cant instal adobe flash for nothing

Hello,
i have tryed everything to download adobe flash player, first it tells me, i have an error, i have unenstalled it and re enstalled it bout 100 times, i have done all i can, everything it tells me to do. and now it says,.activex cant be registered/. im on xp, someone help me please, its making me nuts
