To increase torrent speed

Hello,
i have 54mbps wi-fi connection at my workplace and there is excellent downloading speed for web pages,music,softwares etc for direct download but I got torrent downloading speed just arround 10kbps by using bittorrent or utorrent.
please tell how to increase my to increase my torrent downloading speed!!!!!!!!!!

you need to make sure that when you download a torrent there is a high number of seeders, that way youre downloading files from more than 1 person.

if the number of leechers is large too this can effect download speed as other people are downloading the same thing too.
