DVDRAM driver needed! Help!

Hello,

I have a HP DV6205us using Vista home basic. My DVD/CDROM disappeared! I can not find the driver on the internet but the Hardware is a Matshita uj-850s rom. I have tried deleting the upper and lower filter and that trick did not work. Where can I find the driver? The computer isn't even recognizing it. Please Help.

Hello,
Is there any yellow mark on the drive in the device manager ?
Click on Start --> In search box, type diskmgmt.msc and press Enter. Can you see your drive in disk management.
