Hello,
I have a Inspiron 1545 laptop that sometime in my computer shows that the DVD/CD-ROM but other times it does not. I have to reboot my laptop all the time. In the place where the DVD/CD-ROM is located, it has a yellow light constantly not when it blinks and turns off in a normal boot. Can you help with this problem.

Sincerely,
sahi1207

Hello,

Try this 1

Click on Start --> In search box, type regedt32 and press "Enter"

Registry editor will be opened.

Backup your registry by going to File --> Export and save the file with any name.

Now on the left side, navigate to the location

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> SYSTEM --> CurrentControlSet --> Control

----> Class ---> Click on {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

At right side delete these files if u find it

upper filters,lower filters,upper filters.bak,lower filters.bak and then restart your

PC.

Good Luck.
