dell screen wont work...Closed

Question

Hello, 

i have a dell 1210 and the screen turned off one day
and now everytime i turn it on
the laptop itself i think works fine
but the screen is totally black...
what should i do?
i havent tried plugging it into a monitor yet
but is the screen done for or should i try something before getting a monitor or replacing the laptop?


Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 533.4

You actually need not to replace the lcd of laptop have these tips from Faq section for blank/black screen on starup:
