5.1 speaker not working Closed

Question

Hello, 

I brought edifier DA5000 5.1 speaker system ... on connecting to my pc sound card on testing i get low sound on my front left speaker & while playing any file i get no sound on it...
tried the speakers on my friend's laptop supporting 2.1 , all 5 speakers worked perfectly...
please suggest a slution 

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6

Dear Stoned Man, 

Please get to your Sound and Audio Properties in the Control Panel and from the Advanced Speaker Settings, have it configured properly. Yet, please confirm whether the audio driver doesn't need to be updated.
