Hello,

one of my system files corrupted unabling to boot. I want to reformat, but as I reboot, computer freezes as it loads the BIOS configuration. I restart my computer and here we go again, it hangs!

One day, I succesfully configured the BIOS to set the 1st boot priority to CD/DVD Drive for me to reformat the computer. But as it loads the cd, the computer again hangs? At first, I thought it was OS failed, or the CD/DVD drive. But my friend it was the motherboard. How can I be sure that it is the motherboard failed?

thank you

Make sure your HDD is plugged all the way in and properly.

Hanging BIOS 99% of the time is timing out while attempting to access the hard drive.
