CANNOT GET MY DESKTOP BACK AFTER BLACK SCREEN Closed

Hello, 


IN WINDOWS 7 I GOT THE BLACK SCREEN WHIC i FEXED BY FOLLOWING THE ADVICE GIVEN HERE-i.e. Turn off laptop,remove battery pack,press and hold power button,reinsert battery
pack and restart.
But on restart I get the 'MY Computer screen' the tool bar and all desktop icons are gone.
Can anyone help?

Hi,

Press control alt del simultaneously. Click file NEW TASK RUN. Type explorer.exe.


Then icons will appear as well as the taskbar. Try it.
