Hello,

I just added a Canon Pixma MP250 printer to my PC and now my built in multi-card reader is no longer showing up under My Computer or in my Device Manager. I have rebooted my PC. The green LED showing that a card is in the SD slot is lit up green, but there is nothing in it. I am running Windows Vista and updated the drivers for the printer from Canon's website. Does anyone have an idea of what I can do to fix this?

Hi there,

Is the inserted memory card still functioning or have data on it?Use your driver cd and reinstall the driver for the card reader else which can be done by driver detective which can be downloaded pressing here.

Thanks

Hye, it can be that the memory card is messing up. Please check whether this is the problem by trying it on another computer. Otherwise, it should be that the card reader is faulty and you will have to get it replaced.
