Help please...anyone!
I'm looking for the formula in excel that copies the data from from a single cell from sheet 1 into a single cell on sheet 2.
I want to be able to update the data in one cell on sheet one and have it automatically update on the sheet 2. The layout on sheet 2 is not identical to sheet 1 so I cant just copy the whole page...
I know this is possible, I used to do it a long time ago - I just forgot the formual!

cant you just enter '=' then click to select the cell in the other sheet you want the data to update from?

Hello Nicole,
To copy data from Worksheet One/Cell B2 into Worksheet Two/Cell C2, type this into Cell C2 on Worksheet Two:
=worksheetOne!B2
Meercat's method will work and is quicker.
