Greetings Jack and Re_mi
If I may add a recommendation.
Before you follow Re_mi's link, download and install, because some files of your previous installation may have been corrupted, your new installation may not work.
I suggest that you first completely uninstall all files. To do so, you can use this free uninstaller.
https://ccm.net/downloads/security-and-maintenance/4641-revo-uninstaller/
Good luck

The error is Installshield Wizard Failed, Installation was interrupted before it could be completed. Your system has not been modified. Please run the setup again at any time. It happens even though I don't cancel the installation. Please help me!

Dear Jack and Remi,
I bet my bottom dollar that there are old failed installation files in the registry which need to be deleted before beginning a new installation.
Would you agree Remi?

How would I delete them. I used COMODO Registry cleaner. Is there anything else I need to do and how will I do it?

Sorry, Aquarelle, I didn't mean to offend you. But Nero general Clean tool was not effecient at doing this. it cannot completely clean Nero. Ambucias, I've used Revo uninstaller as you mentioned but the problem still existed. I just don't understand why Nero has got to have too many problems in its trial. They should know that only through try out trial versions, people are going to actually buy the product.
Sorry again Aquarelle. I just got frustrated with Nero.
Thank you.

Hello again Jack
I see that you have another problem which you believe to be a virus. It may be caused by this Nero thing, so lets get rid of Nero.
I might suggest to you to search in your registry but before I do, give a try to this free yet very efficient registry cleaner.
https://www.eusing.com/free_registry_cleaner/registry_cleaner.htm
If the issue persists,
1. Back-up your registry.
2. Use the registry search tool
3. Type nero
4. Delete all value and key that are found.
5. Close the registry editor
6. With the Window search tool, all files and folder, search for Nero and manually delete all related files.
Let me know

this registry cleaner has cleaned some keys except Google Chrome. When you say use the Registry Search Tool, where will I get it?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Hello your Majesty,
I told you that Aquarelle was a really nice person!
I hope this works for Win 7.
Go to run and type regedit. This should open the registry editor. On the bar, click edit and you should find "search". Please remember that there is probably several entries for Nero. Check also before you delete to insure the entry is really related to Nero as the search engine does not descriminate, for instance you may have an entry related to the Roman Emperor or some other application for example called Softnerogame.
Let me know.

I don't know what happened, but Nero 10 installed without issues. This is what I did, I went to the temp folder where Nero is extracted and made an iso of Nero. Then I used setup.exe and Nero installed correctly. Is it because I made an iso or Windows 7.
Thank you.
Thank you.

By the way, how do you completely uninstall Nero 10. I want to test something, that is, I want to include Nero Menu templates 1, 2, 3 and many others with the installer so when I mout the iso or put in the dvd, Nero 10 installs with these packs. So please will you tell me how to uninstall Nero completely without any trace and please give me some tips about including the packs into the installer.
Nero General Clean Tool leaves a lot of traces of Nero and bithers me. When I right click on any folder, Windows Installer pops up and says installing Nero Express. This happens when I uninstall using Nero Clean tool.
Thank you.
Success is like a bottle of ketchup.
It does not come at once but pours out non - stop after trying hard with patience.

Jus FYI ... the nero clean tool appears to work on nero products version 9 and below - I've used it to no avail trying to get rid of nero 10 & 11 - had to do it via "uninstall' then a rather old 3rd party reg cleaner, oh! and going in and finding the Temp files left over and getting rid of them, yes time consuming.

Dear Jack
All applications leave traces. For instance Norton is the worst and even when you clean everything, it is will leave a permanent mark in the registry in the "legacy" section.
In a second issue people have difficulty to remove Quickheal because it does not appear in the add/remove programme utility list. But it has a removal tool in the programme files.
To Nero completely remove it you must follow the usual steps with the add/remove utility. Then follow the search procedures I have given to you previously starting of course with the Eusing free registry cleaner.
Regards

Great! I assume that this is what you wished to test?
Mind you, you don't make things the simple way but an original Jack Rex way!
How would I explain to other users on this forum who have problems uninstalling Nero?
Should my answer be contact His Majesty Jack Rex?
You are crazy but I like you!

By the way, it could have been an issue with Windows XP and so when I upgraded to Windows 7, the whole problem went?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Yes it could have been. Many users had to reintall drivers after a Win upgrade.
