Saving a file with formulas displayed

Hello,
I would like to save an Excel 2010 file with the formulas displayed and be able to open it with the formulas still displayed after it has been closed and opened again. I can save it with the formulas showing, but when I open it back up, the normal view opens. I have tried using ctrl + ~ and it is not working. Please help! Thanks so much for any info or help!
