Wireless laptop and PC

Hello,
I have my wireless laptop connection working well but want my PC to be able to connnect to internet as well. I am not sure which cords to put where. Should the PC connection go trhough the wireless router or just directly to the modem?
Any assistance would be great.

You should connect to the Router. It should have extra connections on the back.
