Hello,
Accordingly there should be some corrupted material causing this trouble. It could be from your own operating system or with the cam's driver.
Please get the OS reinstalled properly and check whether the driver that you are installing is the right compatible one to your OS.
If it is not compatible, try looking for its right driver from the manufacturer's official website.
If however, everything is correct from the cam's driver, the problem will be definitely coming from the OS and hence you should have your OS repaired via the use of your installation cd.
Please confirm the issue over the operating system and driver and indicate for further help.
