re-installing windows 7 Closed

Question

Hello, 

I've a dell laptop and I need to format it because of viruses and software problems...
My windows 7 is genuine (i think so).. Buying a new windows may be very expensive.. how to reinstall same windows after formatting?? Any ideas ...

Well if you got the windows cd with the laptop then you can just put it in, go though the installation prcess as normal and format the existing partiton. If you didn't the you've got a problem i'm affraid...

Hello King,

What don't you restore the system back to a date prior to the issue, a date you know the system was working fine ?

Do you have access to internet on it, in safe mode with networking ?

Or, I can send you a disgnostic tool, the log produced by it will give me the necessary info to fix it.
