Hello,
For those who remember Lotus, it was possible to use file import numbers into a spreadsheet using a range name. For example, Cell A1 is named "Datafile" and the lotus macro would indicate the Path to where "Datafile" was located. The actual name of the file is entered into Cell A1. This allows the user to specify the name of the file to import. My question is, how do I write the code in Excel 2003 (since Excel no longer supports Lotus macros) for the user to enter a file to import?
Thanks in advance.

My exposure to lotus was limited, so I am wondering why not have a dialog box where the user browse to the file to select. Could you post your lotus macro ?
