Hello,
Try this 1
Click on Start --> Run --> Type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.
"Device Manager" will be opened. If there is any red cross mark on your
network adapter, then right-click on it and select the option "Enable"

Try this 1
1)Go to device manager once again and expand the "Network Adapter". Check your wireless network adapter. If is disabled then right-click on it and select the option "Enable". Or Disable it
and then enable it.
2) Update the wireless drivers.
If the problem still exists then let me know your laptop brand name & model number. Also let me know the operating system you are using.

Tried the above, sadly it has made no difference! Disabled & Enabled - drivers are as up-dated as poss. apparantly.
Still comes up "server not found" weird as it finds it via the ethernet cable!
I am using a Sony Vaio model No.PCG 7M1M - Windows VISTA.
I wondered if the WLAN switch was backwards as have seen that reported, but it seems to be correct as only lights up in "on" position.
