Hello,
Click on the AVG icon and start a manual update. Some times AVG does not automatically download the updates. You will need to do this process each day.

It is simply a reminder from the supplier that there are new virus and spyware rules and patches that should be downloaded to bring your copy of the antivirus software up to date. Simply fire up the software and click on the updates button.
