Click your graphic card manufacturer (Nvidia or ATI or Intel) to display the related
information and follow the instructions.
Also check your LCD TV manual regarding the resolution settings.

It depends on the connection that you have made with your LCD TV.
Only HDMI connection will carry both audio and video signals.
S-Video, VGA and DVI carry only video signals. If you opt to connect to your TV using one of those types, you will have to run audio separately.
