Unable to change resolution on Samsung TV [Solved]

It might be set as RATIO, or ASPECT ratio. YOu failed to mention what tv, so it was impossible for me to google the owners manual and read it for you. You are on your won, unless you tell us what model of tv it is so we can google it for you!

Thanks for your help. It is amazing what you find in the manual since I DO NOT have one.
My daughter fixed the screen resolution.

Well, it is under settings>picture>picture size settings>picture size.

I found it in the manual here:

It is amazing what you can find in the owners manual!
