It says Format ur drive when i insert usb

Hello,
hi its bill i have this problem when i plug my external hard drive it appears saying format the drive and i have important data on it. Anyone Can Help me Plz would be thank full

Hi,

Right click on the device from my computer then make a check disk if by this you get same message then format it and afterward use a recovery application to get deleted data back:
