GTA IV problem.

Hello, I'd like to ask a question.

I have a

AMD Athlon II X4 640 3,00 GHz (Quad Core)
RAM 4,00 GB
Radeon HD 6850 (1GB)
Monitor at maximus size (1280x1024 / bit old but good enough for me)

and every time I try to run GTA4 at any performance (highest or lowest) I get lags. Temperature of the computer is stable and normal. I just don't get it.
