Can anyone tell me which is the best processor between i3 2.9ghz and dual core 2.0ghz??

It depends on what you need it for, the i5 processors generally have better specs but the obvious problem is the cost. If you are on a tight budget then a core2 at 2ghz will see you right for a home computer.
